We are a locally owned and operated veterinary practice serving the Border since 2006, and our chief vet has over 27 years of experience in providing exceptional care for your furry friends. We are ideally located in Lavington to serve Albury/ Wodonga, Wagga, Yarrawonga, Corowa, Beechworth, Wangaratta, and beyond.

At Petfocus Vetcare, we offer various services, some unavailable outside major capitals. Our vet with a special interest in feline medicine and surgery together with our dedicated cat nurse team provide expert care for your feline friends. Our separate cat area ensures your kitty can relax in a stress-free environment without interacting with dogs. We believe in communicating regularly with our clients and treating every pet individually, providing personalised care tailored to their needs.

Our team at Petfocus Vetcare comprises five skilled veterinarians and eight highly qualified vet nurses, with more talented professionals set to join us soon. Dr Renee Pigdon, a border area born and bred vet and owner and founder of the clinic, is the most highly qualified cat vet between Melbourne and Canberra. She leads a dedicated cat nurse team, incredibly knowledgeable in cat medicine and surgery. Together, our team is committed to providing exceptional care to your pets professionally, compassionately, and personally.

In 2019, Petfocus Vetcare was honoured to be awarded the Excellence in Innovation award at the Albury-Wodonga Business Awards for our state-of-the-art species-segregated clinic and hospital. This new facility was designed and owned by Dr Renee Pigdon,  who has been practising veterinary medicine in the area for 27 years. Dr Pigdon's vision was to bring city standards of care to the pets of the Border in a nurturing and professional environment.
